Classroom
Call on students fairly. Nobody is picked twice until everyone present has had a turn — and the class list never leaves your computer.
No account. No tracking. Your lists stay in your browser.
12 students to go in round 1. Press Pick — or Space.
One per line.
Paste your class list once, mark anyone Absent, and press Pick a student (or Space). Each picked student is marked as having had a turn; when everyone present has been picked, a new round starts automatically (or turn that off and press New round yourself).
Go Fullscreen on the projector for a big, readable name. Quiet mode turns off sound, confetti and the reveal animation for calm lessons. Pick several students at once for pairs or groups.
Within a round, each pick is uniform over the students who are present and haven't been picked yet, using secure randomness. Over a full round, everyone gets exactly one turn — the order is random.
Absent students are skipped and aren't counted as having had a turn.
A class of 28 with 2 absent: round 1 picks from 26. After 25 picks the last student is certain to be next, and then round 2 begins with all 26 again.
Everything happens in this browser tab. Names and choices aren't uploaded, stored or tracked — a share link only exists if you create one, and its contents live after the#in the address, which browsers never send to a server.
